I recently went on an amazing trip over spring break with 16 "Traditional" students and 3 amazing Simmons staff members. Alternative Spring Break was the highlight of my experience at Simmons and I completely bonded with everyone on the trip. Not only was it nice to get away from responsibilities at home for awhile it was just nice to make more connections with people I see everyday on campus. Taking the first steps to get involved seemed daunting but the team leaders were more than welcoming and so appreciative of my willingness to step out of my comfort zone. We learned from each other, taught each other and boy did we laugh. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
